Author Biographies

Carlos Iván Moreno, University of Guadalajara (UdeG), Guadalajara, Jalisco-Mexico

D. in Public Policy from the University of Illinois-Chicago. He is a full professor at the University of Guadalajara and a member of CONAHCYT's National System of Researchers. He has been a visiting researcher at the University of Chicago and Northwestern University. His research focuses on governance and organizational change in universities, comparative higher education policies and educational innovation. He is a member of several associations and think tanks such as: Mexicanos Primero Jalisco and the University Design Institute at Arizona State University (ASU).

Blanca Inguanzo Arias, University of Guadalajara (UdG), Guadalajara, Jalisco-Mexico

D. in Higher Education Management. She is a professor and researcher at the University of Guadalajara and a member of the National System of Researchers of CONAHCYT. She has made academic stays at the University of Montreal and the University of Granada. She is a member of the international working group “Ciencia social móvil y politizada”, CLACSO; of the Red de Estudios sobre Instituciones Educativas (RESIedu) and member of “Desde mujeres”, an intergenerational platform for visibility and accompaniment of women social scientists. Her research focuses on educational policy, research management, knowledge mobilization and gender studies.

Alejandra Flores-Zamora, University of Guadalajara (UdG), Guadalajara, Jalisco-Mexico

Master's Degree in International Higher Education from the University of Guadalajara and Bachelor's Degree in Educational Processes from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla. With experience in the areas of educational innovation, curriculum design and educational evaluation, as well as internationalization of higher education. Currently, she is a pedagogical advisor at the Center for Teaching Innovation at CUCEA-UdeG, also developing tasks related to research on educational trends, improving the teaching and learning process, as well as teacher training on topics such as: active learning, flipped classroom and learning-centered approach, to mention a few.

Jorge Enrique Flores, University of Guadalajara (UdG), Guadalajara, Jalisco-Mexico

Master in Learning Technologies and PhD Candidate in Higher Education Management at the University of Guadalajara. He has served as an advisor to the Academic and Innovation Coordination and the General Coordination of Cooperation and Internationalization of the University of Guadalajara, where he has participated in research and publication of studies related to the evaluation of intercultural competencies, organizational change and trends and challenges of higher education. Currently, he is an advisor in the Virtual University System of the University of Guadalajara, where he develops academic work and follows up on educational innovation projects.
