Foreword

Abstract

In this prologue, the author expresses the satisfaction that the UNESCO International Institute for Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (UNESCO IESALC) has for the continuity of the journal Higher Education and Society (ESS) and upon seeing the publication of this issue of ESS, he mentions some achievements in the field of knowledge production, IESALC has developed, as an expression of good closure of a year that has been very productive for this institution and ends with some projections as trails in the same tenor towards the future, both of the institute and the journal.
