Rol del estado, políticas e instrumentos de acción pública en educación superior en Chile
Abstract
La educación superior debe abordar cambios profundos para responder a los desafíos del nuevo siglo. Igualmente se modifican las formás en que se relacionan las universidades con el Estado, así como el rol que éste debe desempeñar en el Sistema de educación superior. En Chile, también hay consenso de la necesidad de un salto adelante en la educación superior reclamando un papel más activo del Estado. En este trabajo, se ensaya una sistematización del rol del Estado en la educación superior y la forma como se han llevado a la práctica las políticas en esta área, y los instrumentos que han permitido su implmentación.
