Internacionalização do currículo: Uma resposta democratizante às desigualdades resultantes da mobilidade acadêmica elitista
Resumo
A internacionalização do currículo veio à tona com a pandemia como alternativa à mobilidade, que oferecia apenas a uma elite a possibilidade de ser exposta a uma experiência internacional. O debate sobre a internacionalização do currículo tem 20 anos, mas a situação actual colocou-o no centro da agenda da internacionalização da universidade. Este artigo analisa a sua evolução conceptual e apresenta três dimensões de análise que são necessárias para avançar na sua compreensão e implementação. As dimensões disciplinares e individuais são as forças motrizes por detrás da internacionalização do currículo nas universidades. Ambas as dimensões não são normalmente exploradas com tal profundidade em estudos de internacionalização curricular, que dão prioridade à dimensão institucional. Aqui descrevemos as três dimensões em pormenor e salientamos a necessidade de alcançar uma articulação entre todas elas, de modo a ir além da enunciação de acções bem sucedidas de internacionalização curricular, que, devido à sua fragmentação, são impossíveis de replicar e/ou sobreviver ao longo do tempo.
