L'internationalisation des programmes d’études : Une réponse démocratisante aux inégalités résultantes d'une mobilité académique élitiste

Résumé

L'internationalisation du cursus est apparue avec la pandémie comme une alternative à la mobilité, qui n'offrait qu'à une élite la possibilité d'être exposée à une expérience internationale. Le débat sur l'internationalisation du programme d'études a 20 ans, mais la situation actuelle l'a placé au centre de l'agenda de l'internationalisation des universités. Cet article passe en revue son évolution conceptuelle et présente trois dimensions d'analyse qui sont nécessaires pour progresser dans sa compréhension et sa mise en œuvre. Les dimensions disciplinaires et individuelles sont les moteurs de l'internationalisation des programmes d'études au sein des universités. Ces deux dimensions ne sont généralement pas explorées de manière aussi approfondie dans les études sur l'internationalisation des programmes d'études, qui donnent la priorité à la dimension institutionnelle. Nous décrivons ici les trois dimensions en détail et soulignons la nécessité de parvenir à une articulation entre toutes ces dimensions, afin d'aller au-delà de l'énonciation d'actions réussies d'internationalisation des programmes d'études, qui, en raison de leur fragmentation, sont impossibles à reproduire et/ou à survivre dans le temps.
