Author Biographies

Marisa Álvarez, Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero (UNTREF), Argentina

Licenciada en Administración (UBA), MBA en Dirección de Sistemas de Información (USAL/SUNNY at Albany) y Doctoranda en Educación (UNTREF/UNLA/USAM). Docente investigadora en la Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero y en la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Docente invitada en temas de política, planeamiento y evaluación de programas educativos en varias maestrías y posgrados de Argentina y de otros países. Es especialista en política y administración de la educación, autora de libros y artículos en revistas académicas nacionales e internacionales. Participó y coordinó proyectos de investigación relacionados con producción de conocimientos colaborativos, políticas de tecnología educativa, innovaciones en gestión educativa, financiamiento de la educación, prospectiva educativa, entre otros. Coordinó programas nacionales de gestión local y es consultora de organismos nacionales e internacionales en la temática.

Pedro Prieto, Universidad del Valle (UNIVALLE), Colombia

Pedro Antonio Prieto Pulido. Dr. rer. nat. de la RW-Technische Hochshule-Aachen, Alemania en 1982. Profesor en la Universidad del Valle, Cali desde 1974 y Titular del Departamento de Física desde 1986. Decano de la Facultad de Ciencias (2000-2003) y director del Centro de Excelencia en Nuevos Materiales (www.cenm.org) por 12 años. Fellow of the American Physical Society en el año 2000: “For forefront research in the Josephson effect in high temperature superconductors and outstanding contributions to the development of physics in Latin America”; premio del Grupo G-77 de las Naciones Unidas en Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación en 2006, Premio Scopus Colombia 2009 otorgado por la editorial Elsevier: “For the number of research papers he has published in the area of material sciences over the last 5 years and the numerous times these have been cited”. Es autor de más de 180 artículos científicos en revistas indexadas internacionales, posee una patente alemana obtenida en 1989, y dos patentes obtenidas en Colombia.
