Educación superior en América Latina y el Caribe: desafíos y asuntos pendientes
Abstract
El presente artículo parte de una revisión
historia de la concepción de
universidad en América Latina para
determinar el modelo profesionalizante. Esta determinación conceptual
permitió el desarrollo de retos y
desafíos en el contexto de la globalización,
internacionalización, y tecnificación
de instituciones de educación
superior. Esta ruta condujo las
ideas hacia el dilema de tener una
Universidad concebida bajo la rigurosidad
de los métodos científicos
que exige la investigación de punta
y la necesidad de establecer aperturas
hacia saberes cotidianos y prácticas
sociales que circulan al margen
de la academia formal. Finalmente,
cierra con una exposición de ideas
de ideas sobre pedagogía.
