Abstract
Desafíos Actuales de la Educación Superior
Para enfrentar esos desafíos, a la educación superior de los países desarrollados, se le están pidiendo cambios substantivos para que intervengan en el aumento de productividad y competitividad de los países en el mercado internacional.
Las estrategias para enfrentar estos desafíos en la educación superior de la región no han sido todavía definidas. Sin embargo, las acciones deben programarse para todo el conjunto del sistema educativo y no sólo para determinados niveles. Para diseñar estrategias o definir cambios en la educación superior, no deben dejarse de lado los niveles edutativos que la abastecen, ni tampoco olvidarse de la pertinencia que los conocimientos deben tener para responder a las estrategias planteadasen los nuevos modelosde desarrollo que se están propiciando en la región.
